In response to Paul's comment above, it's true that I have here reproduced the poet's lines with one word omitted. To be fair, it is not simply arrogance on my part or a desire to improve upon this genius work (I couldn't if I tried), but merely an effort to conform the sentiment to my own personal, somewhat idealistic demands.

I feel sure that Cummings himself, that champion of accessibility in art, would have certainly approved.

I've been very remiss in not visiting this blog sooner. I am currently recruiting for a comic verse group blog. You are invited of course.
My hip/rib connection problem is delaying things at the moment but I hope to get started next month.
